2023/24 SS Starting from a kitchen mortar, I wanted to create something that would serve a culinary environment and that would be realized through joints. HUK is an innovative ash wood book holder, designed mainly for cookbooks. It consists of 3 strips, joined by an interlocking mechanism and two dowels. The upper part has a cut of 60 cm, to offer a solid support to the back of the books. In front of two wooden rods, they help to keep the book open and the pages firm.

As Found. Design Inspiration from Regional Folk Craft Museums.
Human history can be found in the things we have made and used. We furnish our world with everyday objects, works of art and ritual artefacts. Many of these things seem to have a story of their own, and some even have a career that has brought them to the museum. Taken out of time and context, they can now be found and discovered in glass cabinets.
